Presented by Clare Controls, Fusion is a software platform that allows integrators and dealers to access advanced smart home features, provide remote support, and configurations.

Responsive Web Application

This web application was designed and developed for a responsive web experience harnessing the foundation of Google’s Material Design utilizing grid-based layouts, responsive animations, transitions and padding. I collaborated with the team of developers defining styles and providing wireframes, mockups, and interactive, high-fidelity prototypes.

Defining a Design System

I take pride in taking the proper time to focus on design systems. Defining UI elements and how they address the goals of the product and the user's experience is key for delivering a successful product. This effort isn't just about choosing fonts and colors, carful attention and planning goes into defining all areas of the interface. The design plan begins with workflows, wireframes, exploring UI patterns, and motion design studies that are later applied to the components in the design system.

Responsive Data Tables

When taking various screen sizes into consideration, designing for large amounts of data in small areas can be more than a challenge. In this case our primary user is the installer, the person either with their customer in their home or in the office remotely configuring a system. We drilled down and shortened the amount of data columns shown on a mobile device to the most important information needed when searching for a customer. We designed a Moveable Responsive Data Table that allowed the use of swipe gestures to browse columns.
